FAQ
Shipping & Delivery
How long will my order take to arrive?
Once your order has been dispatched, GLS will usually deliver it within 3-4 working days, whether you have chosen home delivery or collection from a parcel shop.
During particularly busy periods, such as sales or seasonal peaks, preparing and dispatching your order may take up to 10 days. We will always let you know on our website if longer processing times apply.
Once your parcel has been dispatched, you will receive an email confirmation with your tracking number.
How much does delivery cost?
You can find the latest delivery charges and available delivery options for each country on our Delivery page.
I didn’t choose a parcel shop when placing my order – what happens next?
If you did not select or confirm a collection point during checkout, we will not be able to dispatch your parcel.
In this case, we will send you an email with a “Choose a parcel shop” button. Click the button, or sign in to your account via Log in, where you can select a collection point for your order.
If neither option works, please send us the exact name and address of your chosen collection point, and we will add it for you.
We can update the delivery address or collection point free of charge before your parcel is dispatched. Once it has been sent, we are no longer able to make any changes.
Why is my order arriving in two parcels?
If one of the items is delayed, we may send your order in two separate parcels so you do not have to wait for the rest of your items.
The second parcel will arrive with its own tracking number, at no extra cost.
Where is my parcel?
As soon as your parcel has been prepared, we’ll let you know by email. The courier will then send you a tracking number, which you can use to follow your parcel’s progress.
Can I collect my order in person?
Unfortunately, we don’t offer in-person collection.
Do you deliver internationally?
You can find our international delivery charges here.

Unfortunately, discount codes can’t be combined. You can only use one discount code per order.
Discount codes can’t be used on clearance items or other products that are temporarily reduced.
The LIAABEBE10 code gives newsletter subscribers 10% off full-price items. It can’t be used on sale items or combined with any other discount.
Products, sizing and TOG
Which size should I choose?
Measure your little one from heel to the top of their head, allowing a little extra room for growth. This is especially important with a sleeping bag if you plan to pull the fold-over foot covers over their feet in autumn or winter.
The fabric is stretchy, so one size can stay comfortable for several months. If you’re unsure, choose the larger size.
Which TOG rating should I choose?
TOG (Thermal Overall Grade) shows how well a sleeping bag retains heat. The TOG ratings of our sleeping bags have been tested by TÜV Rheinland and Intertek laboratories.
Always choose according to the room temperature, rather than the season:
- 0.5 TOG – 23–25 °C: we recommend a short-sleeved body underneath. For babies who tend to get warm, a nappy and body may be enough.
- 1.5 TOG – 21–23 °C: we recommend a long-sleeved body or a lightweight sleepsuit underneath. For babies who tend to feel the cold, a body and sleepsuit can be worn together.
- 2.5 TOG – 18–21 °C: we recommend a long-sleeved body with a sleepsuit or pyjamas underneath.
The most reliable way to check your baby’s temperature is by feeling the back of their neck and their back.
- If their skin feels comfortably warm, they’re likely to be just right.
- If their skin feels damp or sweaty, remove one layer. If it feels cool, add one layer.
Your baby’s hands and feet may often feel cooler to the touch. This alone doesn’t mean they’re cold. Always check the back of the neck and the back instead.
These recommendations are only a guide, as every baby is different.
When will a sold-out item or size be back in stock?
We don’t usually restock individual colours. Instead, we regularly introduce new colours and collections, typically in spring and autumn.
If you’re looking for a particular size, you can filter by size on our collection pages.
Sign up to our newsletter to be among the first to hear about new collections.
What are the fold-over foot covers for, and how do I use them?
The fold-over foot covers are the soft sections at the ends of the legs on our walking sleeping bags. Fold them over to cover your little one’s feet in cooler weather, or fold them back to leave their feet free when it’s warmer.
You can check whether a particular sleeping bag has fold-over foot covers on the product page, in the relevant section of the description.
How should I care for bamboo clothing?
General washing advice:
- Wash items at 30 °C on a gentle cycle with similar colours.
- Turn bodysuits and sleepsuits inside out before washing.
- Avoid bleach, detergents containing bleaching agents, and harsh chemicals. You’ll find any bleaching ingredients listed on the detergent packaging. Fabric softener isn’t needed, as the material stays soft without it.
- Do not tumble dry. Air-dry the items on a clothes airer or lay them flat, and allow enough time for them to dry fully.
- Bamboo viscose is a soft, delicate fabric, so slight pilling may occur in areas exposed to friction. This is a natural characteristic of the material and can be reduced with gentle washing.
Sleeping bags need a little extra care:
never wash a sleeping bag with a quilted lining inside out. Always fasten it fully before placing it in the washing machine, so nothing can catch on the threads of the quilted inner layer.
Unzip and lay the sleeping bag flat to dry.
How should I clean the clothing if the nappy leaks?
Once you’ve changed your baby into clean clothes, rinse the stained item under running water straight away.
There’s no need to soak it. Don’t wait for the stain to set into the fibres; the sooner you rinse it, the easier it will be to remove. :)
What makes bamboo fabric so special?
Benefits of bamboo viscose
Helps maintain a comfortable temperature
The breathable fabric helps your little one feel warm and cosy in cooler weather, while remaining light and comfortable when it’s warmer.
Extra soft and silky
Made from bamboo-derived fibres, the fabric feels beautifully soft and gentle against your baby’s delicate skin.
Long-lasting freshness
Its excellent moisture-absorbing properties help keep your little one comfortable throughout the day and create a pleasant environment for the skin.
Durable and shape-retaining
Bamboo viscose is strong and resilient, helping garments retain their shape without easily shrinking, stretching or becoming misshapen.
Can the product colour look different from what I see on screen?
We do our best to show colours as accurately as possible on our website. However, screen settings can vary, so the colour of the product may look slightly different in person.
If you’re unsure about a particular colour, feel free to get in touch with us via the Contact page.
